- If you're looking to have a website designed and hosted, or need editorial services, you've come to the right place!
- I can give you inexpensive, personal service to custom design your personal or business website. It's cheaper than you might think, and my rates are flexible.
- To be specific, we generally charge an amount equal or less than the competition. A one page website with a reasonable amount of SEO (search engine optimization, so you can be listed on the first page of search results, e.g. in Google search), as well as local search directories, has three fees associated with it: These three fees are the industry standard in developing a website.
- My website design charge for a one page website as described above is $100, which is standrd in the industry from any web developer who has any experiece. However, I am willing go the extra mile to make the page exactly as you want, however long it takes. My design fee is a one time charge, and changes to your website cost nothing extra in that first year, provided they are reasonable. You also need what is called a "Domain name" which is your website address. For a .com website, this is usually about $10, and that must renew your ownership of the domain each year (this is between you and the web host each year to renew your ownership of the domain. Finally the host network charges a rather small monthly fee of between $2.99 to $4.99 a month, depending on if you want basic or deluxe hosting, and how much you are willing to pay up front for their fees. For example, it is cheaper to buy at least three months in advance, since that would bring down the hosting cost about $1.00 a month, if you signed three months in advance. The fee could easily be paid monthly or on a yearly basic. (This is for my webhost, GoDaddy, my only personal charge is the one time design charge, and then after the first year, I charge $50 a year to maintain your site and monitor it and give you all the support you need on that website, and make changes to it beyond the normal amount I would ordinarily do for you without charge. This annual fee to "look after" your website is $50 for full support, and again, this is fairly standard in the industry, and it is also common in website design to make the first year's maintaince fee free for the first year.
- We also handle websites for businesses at slightly higher prices. For examply, a five page website, which would be fairly standard for a business, or anyone wanting a really solid presence on the internet, commonly costs $600 plus the same $10 domain fee and hosting aroound $5 a month. We undercut that and make our one time design fee to be $500.
- My web host, GoDaddy, has technical support people on call 24/7 and I am also always availble any time at all that might need some advice or help.
- I will set you up with a fantastic web hosting package at no extra charge beyond what the hosting company charges. GoDaddy is the larges website host, has the highest percentage of "up" time, and has unlimited free technical support: you can't go better than GoDaddy!
- Here is the "X" factor if you will: I stand absolutely determined to make my customers satisfied. I will bend over backwords to be sure your new website is exactly what you want. If it lies within my powers to make a change or addition to your website, I will do that for no extra fee.
