Yes, that's me in the picture next to the Contact Info, with my mom, in 1961, when I was four.

In the 90's I was the translation editor for eleven books on subjects ranging from a collection of short stories to the effects of wheat components on cancer rates.

My friend Cindy has recently written a book which is for sale on Amazon.com, that I edited. The book is on a subject dear to me,
Spiritualist Christianity.
(I now attend Trinity United Church of Christ.)

The title is If You Plant Roses You Don't Get Carnations: An Introduction to Spiritualism

 I edited this
  book and did
  most of the
  photography
  for it. You
  can buy the
  book on
  Amazon.com.

  Have you ever
  wondered about
  reincarnation
  or spirits?
  Have you ever
  felt a connec-
  tion to someone
  as if you'd
  known them
  forever? Have
you lost a loved one and wondered how they are doing, or even would like to contact them? NO, it's not a joke, these are all topics discussed in depth in Cindy's book, but she present these topics with a God-centered approach, and there are many spiritualists who would fully agree with this! Find out more, check out the Yahoo! group: In this book, Cindy discusses many spiritual gifts and blessings with a purely Biblical approach. These are the teachings of a nondenominational spiritualist Christian church.

Although the book also draws upon wisdom from Buddhist and other sources, the Bible is the primary guide for the book and for Memorial Spiritual Christian Church. Cindy's book also tells you where to look on the web for more information.

At the book's Yahoo! Group, there are downloadable excerpts and photographs from the book. Go to our Yahoo Group!

The Amazon page for "If You Plant Roses, You Don't Get Carnations" is "searchable." Go To the Book's Page at Amazon.com. The book is only $14.95, plus S&H.

Cindy also offers services in Swedish Massage, Reiki and Spiritual healing. Go to her website RoseRainbow and find out more.

Paul is "single and looking."

In late 2005 I wrote an article honoring Trafalgar, the most famous naval battle of all time, on it's 200th anniversary. I was fortunate enough to get that article published in History magazine, as the cover piece for the Oct./Nov. 2005 issue. If you are interested in naval history, you might want to read my six page article, since it was Trafalgar which stopped Napoleon from having any hope of invading England and gave England 110 years of naval supremacy on the world's oceans. Read about Trafalgar. To read the article you will need Adobe Reader. Download the latest version (free) here.

This is a symbol of the Unitarian-Universalist Association. We are a church which believes in the search for truth and gives our members freedom to believe as they are led by their consciences. One could be a liberal Christian, or study Zen Buddhism or Taoism, or be simply an environmentalist, or even be a humanist, agnostic, atheist or study pagan religions. Universalists are usually more Scripturally based Christians who believe that all souls are saved, that a loving God would not damn anyone, just as Jesus judged no one. The two formerly separate groups merged in 1961. Belief systems are entirely up to the conscience of each member, who is encouraged and supported as he or she develops a personal spirituality. The symbol, which is actually our OLD logo,is called the Flaming Chalice. You can explore our beliefs at the website of The Unitarian-Universalist Association of Congregations.  A suggestion would be to type "Principles" into the search bar and load the first result. I was a member from 1984 until the end of 2008. We are a worldwide faith. The church logo is in no way affiliated with my business. The fellowship in Wooster can be found at www.uufwc.org. Hope to see you there some Sunday at 10:30 a.m.

I currently attend Trinity United Church of Christ.
You can read about my religious views at Evans Liberal Politics Our Christian Religious Views.

I also dabble in politcs and am a news hound. Wasn't the election great?
Also at the end of 2005 I had a guest column in the Wooster Weekly News on the current
topic of our Social Security crisis. There is an easy fix for that problem! Would you
like to read my article?
